I have been searching for migraine relief since childhood and have tried just about everything. Allergy meds, chiropractic adjustments, various prescriptions, injections, massage, physical therapy, acupressure bands, er visits, arnica, tiger balm, migraine caps with heat and ice, and lots of excedrin migraine. I grew up with frequent Migraines and they came back with a vengeance after my concussion that I began seeking alternatives to the prescriptions I had to take in order to function day to day. The good news is that there is natural relief available that works well with any current migraine treatment you are already doing.
My first experience with migraine relief and Craniosacral Therapy came while I was at my first CST workshop and by the third day of being in fluorescent light I was so violently sick that I could barely communicate what was going on. The teaching assistants managed to get me on the table where I received my first session with multiple therapists. Within 20 minutes of treatment my migraine was gone and I hadn't even needed to take any meds. I was particularly impressed as this particular type of migraine usually lands me in ER within a couple days. Although I still take medication for my migraines the frequency has dropped drastically with the combination of CranioSacral Therapy, Reiki, Naturopathic Medicine, and as needed Prescription Medication (which I use once every couple of months instead of everyday!) If you're looking to add another technique to your migraine relief toolbox coming in to try our Headache Buster would be a great start. The Headache Buster is a unique combination of Reiki and CranioSacral Techniques combined with the age old stand by of heat and ice relief. Each headache or migraine is completely unique and could have a variety of causes so each session is specifically tailored to your body and what it needs that day. The Headache Buster isn't just for headaches though it's also a great way to try out both Reiki and CST before booking a full hour session.
